Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Worker to join our team. *The ideal candidate will have a strong history of longevity in previous warehouse positions and will be accustomed to working in non-climate-controlled environments. This role is crucial to our warehouse operations, and the candidate must have a proven track record of efficiently handling tasks such as receiving, storing, and shipping products. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to safety and attention to detail.

Niagara County

Early 2nd shift:

Monday - Friday

12pm-9pm

Duties

  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers for the movement of goods.
  • Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and containers.
  • Assist in order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular checks and updates.
  • Follow OSHA guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and efficiency.
  • Perform materials handling tasks, including sorting, storing, and organizing products within the warehouse.
  • Ensure that all packages are handled with care to prevent damage during storage and transit.

Qualifications

  • Proven longevity in previous warehouse roles with a demonstrated ability to stay with employers for extended periods.
  • Previous experience working in non-climate-controlled warehouse environments is a must.
  • Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A proactive attitude towards safety and efficiency in all operations.

Job Type:Full-time

Pay:$17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours:40 – 44 per week
