The EAF-2 Solenoid Valve Cartridge is a solenoid replacement part for EAF style faucets. This is applicable for EAF IQ style faucets. An IQ style faucet is a type of touchless faucet that incorporates advanced sensing technology to provide a more intelligent and responsive user experience. The EAF product line requires below deck maintenance in order to replace or upgrade the solenoid when needed. For those looking for a replacement for the EAF product line, Sloan also offers the EAF-9, which is the filter replacement part. The solenoid controls the flow of water within the faucet, when a user activates the faucet, the solenoid recevies an electrical signal that causes it to open the valve, allowing water to pass through the spout. When the user removes their hands, the solenoid recieves a signal to close the valve, shutting off the water flow.
