ProFlex® tubes are the economical flexible foam pipe insulation option for HVAC and refrigeration applications. Its closed cell structure make it a good mechanical insulation choice on chilled water and refrigeration piping where condensation might otherwise soak through fibrous types of insulation, significantly degrading their thermal performance, leaving them susceptible to fungal growth and ultimately shortening their lifecycle.
